How do I know providers are real?
Every provider completes KYC — government ID, selfie verification, and manual staff review — before they can list gear or receive payouts.
When is my money actually charged?
Your payment is authorized at checkout but only captured after the host approves your booking request. Until then, nothing is taken from your account.
What does the Trust & Protection Fee cover?
It funds secure payments, fraud monitoring, dispute handling, and platform operations so both renters and hosts are protected throughout the rental.
What happens if something goes wrong?
Our Trust & Safety team mediates disputes with evidence from both sides. Security deposits can be split or refunded based on the outcome.
Is my deposit safe?
Yes. Deposits are held separately and released according to the rental outcome — full refund if no issues, or partial settlement if damage is documented.
